Possible Solutions
There are several gate types and modifications that would act as viable alternatives to a “Joustergate”. We’ve set out below some of the viable alternatives to demonstrate how easy it would be to install a much safer gate.
A manual arm barrier
A simple drop bar securely bolted or welded at the pointed end of the gate. If the gate was left unsecured and strayed in to the path of an oncoming vehicle and not allowed to penetrate the windscreen.
A Rectangular Gate
A simple drop bar securely bolted or welded at the pointed end of the gate. If the gate was left unsecured and strayed in to the path of an oncoming vehicle and not allowed to penetrate the windscreen.
A Simple Drop Bar

A Round PLate
